Active Stick Control (ASC)

Active Stick Control is an advanced vehicle control system in which the driver’s steering inputs are transmitted electronically rather than mechanically. Instead of relying on traditional linkages, ASC uses high-precision actuators to translate driver commands into wheel movements.

What Is Active Stick Control?

The control element, known as the “stick,” functions not only as an input device but as an active interface. It provides continuous tactile feedback, allowing the driver to feel vehicle behavior, driving conditions, and system interventions in real time.

Active Stick Control is currently in an intensive testing phase with multiple demonstrator vehicles. Together with leading industry partners and OEMs, we are working to integrate the technology into series-production vehicles from the mid-2020s onward, initially in the premium and performance segments.
